Karina is a leader in sports event management and an expert to help design, plan, manage, promote and execute events that celebrate the power of sport and community.

She has had the privelege of working with committees, small business, organisations, sporting bodies to bring their event, sport, project, program and experience vision to life.

Mothers Day Classic

  • Mothers’s Classic is a 5km and 10km walk to raise funds for Breast Cancer.

  • Karina helped navigate the complexity of event planning by managing all stages to ensure seemless execution of the event and ensure that the design of the event has maximum positive impact.

    Elements included site map creating, managing schedules, suppliers, partner engagement, risk assessments and coucil applications.

  • Responsible for managing volunteer requirements and leading a team of volunteers to ensure they are empowered within their role.

  • Management of bump in and out, event schedules, vendors and suppliers, registration, course set up, and ensuring the participants have a memorable experience

Masters Swimming WA

  • Masters Swimming WA is a Sporting body specialising is inspiring people from the ages of 18 or older to continue in swimming

  • Karina was responsible for creating content and communications as well as a marketing strategy to encourage a more younger demographic to engage with Masters and be involved in swimming.

    Karina provided new creative inititives that inspired growth of sport and improve their member base.

  • Karina helped Masters plan the Mullaloo Mile, awards evening, conferences and pool competitions.

    Karina also developed new initiatives and designed experiences such as a virtual swim and a swimming month to raise funds for mental health as well as built new partnerships to ensure success.

  • In a world where techology plays a huge role in marketing, developing a website that helps improve the customer experience and easy to find information is essential in order for them to be involved.

    A large component of Karina’s work at Masters Swimming is the improvement of the content, flow and design of their websites.
